Retired racehorses do not have a bad foot
Another big misconception about retiring horses is that they have bad feet. This is not at all true because they can also go barefoot and run without shoes. Of course, ex-racehorses were trained wearing shoes since they were young. Obviously, we have to give them enough time to shift from a racer to a non-racer horse. They need to physically adjust once their racing shoes are pulled out. Sooner, they will have their feet grow and have a normal hoof wall.
